Recruitment Research involves direct sourcing of target companies by senior, library science professionals to find candidates -- the best people, currently performing the job you need done. Our senior level researchers locate candidates through cold calling and networking with people in the industry and relevant professional associations. ORIS Creative Solutions Inc. has access to all the major resume databanks (Monster, Hot Jobs, CareerBuilder, Workopolis, etc.). We search paid and free job boards for new active candidates and we deploy the latest web crawler technology that scours ISPs, corporate & educational web servers, and the major search engines for passive candidates; who don't have their resumes posted in resume databanks. The end result is a thoroughly researched and filtered list of prospective candidates tailored to your specific position, and submitted to you in a detailed research report. The research report provides a list of candidates who have the experience, education, salary and geographical preference specified in the job profile. - Timeframe: Usually within 2 weeks.
Candidate generation: - What it is: Contacting a list of pre-identified persons to present a job opportunity; recording their feed back; gathering the résumés, reference lists and compensation expectations of those who are interested. Screening of candidates according to predefined requirements can be included in the service.
- What we need to start: Sufficient and clear information to present the opportunity in a compelling manner, screening criteria if required, and a list of individuals to contact including their contact information, such as described in package 2 above.
- What we deliver: * Resumes, reference lists and compensation expectations of candidates interested by the opportunity and a standardised report which includes feed back from the individuals that we have contacted, in a MS-Word format document delivered by email. Résumés and reference lists are delivered in the format provided by the candidates, without any alteration, and compensation expectations are included in a separate note. If screening is required, only the information on the candidates matching the requirements will be forwarded, unless otherwise specified.
- Timeframe: Usually within 2 weeks.
Reference checking: - What it is: Contacting pre-identified persons, speaking with them according to a pre-established questionnaire and collecting their comments.
- What we need to start: Name, title and contact information of the persons to speak with and a pre-established questionnaire.
- What we deliver: * A standardized report which includes the names, titles, company and contact information of the individuals that we will have spoken with, and their responses and comments, in a MS-Word format document delivered by email.
- Timeframe: Depends on availability of people to contact.
